The Renegade: Ranking 2019 Games in Order of Intrigue
Training camp is in full swing and just over a month away from kickoff! It's like watching the sunrise in the Lion King to "The Circle of Life"...just much much slower. Nonetheless the sun is coming up and we need to get ourselves ready for the regular season. So for the sake of our significant others, family, and friends who obnoxiously scheduled Fall weddings, we need to plan every Sunday, Monday, and Thursday accordingly for the rest of the year right now! Here's our list of most intriguing Steelers games to guide your fall:
16. Miami (Home)- It's Monday Night Football, but there is little intrigue around this game as it looks like Miami might be in prime position to get the number one overall pick and #TankForTua.
- Possible sleeper game as Buffalo should be improved from last year, plus they may be in the wild card hunt. Annnnnd we always play down...annnnd it's a playoff scenario for us.... but never the less, it's Buffalo..
- Could be a really good team. could be a really bad team. two of the best franchises in NFL history. At the very least, Kyle Shanahan's offense will be a good test for the defense.
13. Arizona (Away)
- KYLER! AIR RAID OFFENSE!...and Kliff Kingsbury, whose career record is sub-.500 🤣🤣🤣
12. Cincy (11/24- Away)
11. Jets (Away)
- Le'veon will be hurt or suspended so don't bank on a reunion, but the Jets could be in the wild card hunt.
10. Cincy (9/30-Home)
- They're still trash but it's Monday Night Football in the Burgh.
9. Seattle (Home)
- They'll probably be bad since Pete Carroll teams aren't good until week 10 and then win 6 straight to sneak into the playoffs.
8. Baltimore (10/6-Home)
- These games are always great, but not being in primetime like it usually is takes a little bit away from this match up. Also, Lamar Jackson sucks.
7. Indianapolis (Home)
- 2 Super Bowl Contending teams playing each other usually gets a top 5 spot, but that really is a testament to how difficult the whole schedule is. This could end up being the best game of the year
6. LA Chargers (Away)
- See above
5. Cleveland (11/14-Away)
- Thursday Night Football! Against the most over-hyped team in the NFL since the Chip Kelly Eagles and the Vegas favorites for the AFC North, bring it on. Plus this late into the season, both teams should be in full-stride.
- Some of us at TGYK are #Gay4McVay
- Aaron Donald returns to Heinz Field as the Steelers host the Super Bowl runner-ups!
3. Cleveland (12/1- Home)
- Might be the most crucial AFC North game of the season and will be a revenge game for whoever lost 2 weeks ago.
2. New England (Away)
- So much to say and so little time. FIRST GAME OF THE YEAR! Against the cheating Darth Hoodie and Bitch Brady, in Foxborough as they raise their Super Bowl Champion banner. So much motivation for the Steelers + the Pat's notoriously start slow. It's hard to be confident in the W in this game but there's also quite a bit in our favor... more on that later!
1. Baltimore (12/29-Away)
- They may suck. They may be good. But what WILL be true is that this game will define a playoff spot for the Steelers, if not both teams, possibly the division too.

Here We Go Steelers!
