Lights..Camera..Reaction!: Patriotic Movies to Watch

Happy 4th of July everyone! And since it's the holiday, I wanted to do things a bit differently this week. Instead of focusing on just one boring ole reaction, I'm gonna do a few! But don't worry it won't be too long, because I know everyone hates to read. But these combinations of movies and television episodes should get you into the patriotic mood. And you can bet your butt, everything is American made gold...

Alright time to get down to the Jimmy Business! I'll try my best to avoid spoilers, but a few might slip so please forgive me. First on the list is Captain America: The First Avenger. If this doesn't get you riled up, nothing will! Who doesn't enjoy watching super soldier, Steve Rogers, kick some terrorist butt! Screw you Hydra! This is one my favorite films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and is absolutely perfect for our nation's birthday. Plus...

If you're looking for a more serious film, then I suggest The Patriot. Starring Mel Gibson as Benjamin Martin, who leads a colonial militia against invading British troops. I know it's an oldie, but it's still a goodie! And I promise by the end, you'll be screaming...

And a forewarning, the movie is NOT kid friendly! So adult comedy only! But it's a fun watch, and there'e some pretty catchy tunes. Along with a famous cameo...

Keeping the lols going, I also suggest It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia,  S5E7 "The Gang Wrestles for the Troops". I love the show, and this is one of my favorite episodes! It's fueled by patriotism, and showcases some fantastic WWE style wrestling! And you'll be introduced to the fierce Birds of War...

No July 4th list is complete without the all-American, ass-kicking, cigar-smoking, all-time greatest disaster movie; Independence Day (for which there is no sequel)!! I [Ryan w/ the quick cameo] have seen this every single July 4th that I've lived and then some! This movie gave us Will Smith the superstar and peak Jeff Goldblum! But most importantly we got the greatest on-screen President in history from Bill Pullman. The speech! The greatest speech in movie history! Chills every time! Take it away Mr.President:

Well, those are all of my recommendations for this wonderful holiday! I am blessed to live in the greatest country on Earth, and proud to call myself an American! I would like to thank all the brave men and women who serve the United States. Without you, I wouldn't be able to write these silly blogs! But thanks for the read, and until next time... USA! USA! USA!
