The Renegade: Steeler Road Trips We Need to Make
The great part about the NFL is that you get to play every team in the league every 3 years; what makes this even more great is that it opens up the opportunity for some awesome road trips. Steelers Nation always makes its presence felt on the road where you can see terrible towel all the way to Arizona. We live for road trips, so what road trips do we most want to make for the Steelers?
Obviously, A Super Bowl
www.behindthesteelcurtain.com
The Super Bowl could be played in Buffalo in the middle of winter and this would still be number 1 on our list. To experience a Super Bowl live with the Steelers playing would be a dream come true. Now we just need the Steelers to make a Super Bowl again.... oh yea, and also a couple thousand dollars.
New Orleans

No surprise here. All we want to do is hit up Bourbon Street and then stumble our way over to the Super Dome to watch the Steelers play the Saints. There is great history in this dome and the atmosphere always seems great.
New Los Angeles Stadium
Sportingnews.com
Look at that. Look at it! That's a piece of art! Putting my (Ryan) football man-crush on Sean McVay aside, both LA teams have had their share of success recently making a good matchup for the Steelers. Opening in 2020, LA Stadium at Hollywood Park will be host to the 2022 Super Bowl (I'd spend my life savings on), the 2023 National Championship, and 2028 Olympics, probably for cool reasons outside of being just a smoke-show. New stadiums always bring cool features like that ring.
Lambeau Field

You're not a true football fan if you don't appreciate the history and tradition that is legendary Lambeau Field. If there was such thing as a football version of a Birthright mission, Green Bay would be on it. Required trip for any football fan.
Atlanta

Atlanta is a very cool city, but the main attraction here would be to go to the new Mercedes Benz Stadium. I don't think there is a better place in the nation to watch a football game than here. Plus the low concession prices are legendary in sports. The only thing that would make the trip better would for the game to be on a Monday night so we could go to the in stadium Chick-fil-a.
NOT Cincinnati
www.reddit.com
LOL, yea not planning to visit here. How sad is it that Cincinnati is an option for a road trip every season? There is absolutely zero intrigue to go to Cincy. The only positive of this trip would be to watch the Bengals fans ride the escalators of shame out of the stadium LIVE during the 4th quarter when the Steelers are winning.
Seattle
www.sportingnews.com
The 12th man. Man, when the Seahawks were at their best, there may not have been a tougher place to play than in Seattle. Also, you gotta love the Seahawks uniforms and you can visit the Space Needle!!
Dallas

Yup, Jerry World. We hate Dallas and hope they go 0-16 every year, but the area itself is highly touted and the stadium must've cost $2+ billion for a reason. We'd be those obnoxious visitors decked-out in black and gold, talking smack the whole trip.
Why is it that all the NFC teams have the best destinations?? If you have been on a great Steelers road trip, let us know about your favorites places! Thanks for reading.
