Lights..Camera..Reaction! We are switching it up on you all as I (Aaron) am stealing Jimmy's segment for my review of Aladdin! If you love Disney movies like me, you will LOVE this film. Aladdin was one of the great movies of my childhood, and this live action film did it some great service and even took it a little further... Let's take a magic carpet ride together as I give my main takeaways and ratings from Aladdin.. Do You Trust Me??

Initial Reaction: It is On Par, If not better, than the animated film.
I just got out of the theatre a half hour ago and my initial reaction is that the live action film was better than the animated. This may be due to just seeing the film and really enjoying it, but I thought everything was on par with the original and they took everything a step further. If it was on par with the original, and took everything a step further, that has to mean it was better, right?
Acting Was Amazing
All the major roles of Aladdin, Jasmine, Jafar, and the Genie were casted amazingly. Mena Massoud (Aladdin) and Naomi Scott (Jasmine) have an amazing connection in the film that makes it feel real (My friend Chino walked out of the theatre saying he fell in love with Naomi Scott... he is definitely dreaming of a "Whole New World"). Marwan Kenzari (Jafar) does an amazing job of bringing out the evilness in Jafar and makes you want to punch him the face. Oh, and I am almost forgetting Will Smith (Genie)....
Will Smith's Genie is On Par, if not Better, than Robin William's
First off, I absolutely love Robin William's (RIP) Genie and never thought anyone could do it better, but Will Smith may have done that. Smith adds a modern flavor to the Genie and absolutely kills it in every aspect of the role. There are a lot of bad reviews out there that did not enjoy him as the Genie, and I walked out of the theatre wondering how? "Friend like me" and "Prince Ali" were done amazingly, mostly because of Will Smith. The Genie steals the movie, once again!!

What else you Have to Look Forward To
- Longer Film. Live Action= 2 hr 8 min, Animated= 1 hr 31 min. The film was longer, but it did not feel like it. It enhances the story as they add to it in a great way.
- New Songs. Two new songs appear in the movie and they are great!
- Rajah and Abu are still awesome.
- An amazing depiction of the Middle East.
- All the classic songs will hit you in the feels.
- Girl power!!!!
